Were the Dark Ages Really Dark?
In the dark ages, things really weren't so dark in the middle east while in Europe everything was dark for peasants. Peasants were being starved, while their "lords" got everything they worked for. In the Dark Ages there was no way to be more than a peasant if you weren't a lord. The Black Plague took place during the dark ages and wiped out 75% of Europe's population. The cause of the plague was blamed on Jews, but in reality it was from rats that would come from trading ships. The rats would come with infected fleas, infecting anyone being bit. Highly influenced by superstitious; one reason why it was called the dark ages.

Depth Psychology
During the next Six Weeks, our AP English class will be applying a psychological approach to movies, stories, and tales, called "Archetypal Analysis." To do this, we will be looking for symbols and details in those works that might have changed or passed on from culture and time. In order to understand the archetypes, one must understand the theories of Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung. The collective unconscious and conscious must be fully understood. |

Lilo and Nani then become his loyal companions teaching him how to become a normal citizen also creating a better hero. In the end, Good vs. Evil, good always win and Stitch got to stay with Lilo because of his apotheosis of changing into a normal citizen.
